Copy domains from one geodatabase to another

Subtypes enable you to define different rules for categories of objects within a single geodatabase object class. This example shows how to copy all the subtypes from one object class (or feature class) to another. This may be useful if you have just copied an object class programatically.

The Domains property page can be used to delete an attribute domain from the geodatabase or modify an existing domain. When a new domain is created, the owner of that domain—that is, the user who created it—is recorded. Only the owner of an attribute domain can delete or modify it.

The geodatabase stores coordinates as positive 4-byte integers that have a maximum value of 2,147,483,648. This range of integers is called a spatial domain.
